Saturdays start at 1pm.
Sundays start at 12pm.

This tournament is for Champaign Area USBC bowlers age 50 and over as of March 1, 2025. Divisions are established to have as even of competition in all divisions (based on past year’s entries).

Bowlers will bowl 3 games on one pair of lanes and standings will be based on handicap (100% of 250).

Pizza will be provided at the conclusion of each squad for participants only.

2025 Marty Glenn Senior Tournament Rules

1. This is a singles tournament only.
2. You can enter a maximum of three times but can only cash once in your age division.
3. Bowlers must be 50 years or older, on or before March 1, 2025, and must be a member of USBC and Champaign Area USBC for the 2024-25 season.
4. Bowlers will use the highest 2023-2024 book average. If no 2023-24 average, bowler is to use his/her highest league average as of March 1, 2025, based on at least 12 games. If a bowler does not have a qualifying average, tournament management will assign an average based on USBC Rule 319b with women being assigned a minimum average of 110 and men a minimum average of 130.
5. Handicap will be 100% of difference between bowler’s average and 250.
6. Failure to use correct average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than correct average, resulting in more handicap. USBC Rules 319a, 319c, 319d and 319e will not apply for this tournament.
7. Bowlers will bowl three games on one pair of lanes.  Series total will include pin fall for the three games plus handicap.  Standings will be based on the handicap total by division and gender.
8. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to first place winners in four men’s and two women’s divisions: The divisions are:
   • MEN:  50-56; 57-62; 63-70 and 71 and over
   • WOMEN:  50-65 and 66 and over
9. In the case of ties, including 1st place, positions will be combined, and prize money will be split evenly.  In the case of ties for first place, duplicate symbolic awards will be awarded.  Prizes will be paid in a one in five ratio for each division with a minimum of two places paid for all divisions that have at least three entrants.
10. Entry fee is $30.00: $19.00 bowling and expense fee and $11.00 prize money.
11. ENTRIES CLOSE 1 HOUR prior to the start of bowling for each squad.
12. Make checks payable to Champaign-Area USBC.  There will be a $25 fee for checks returned unpaid for any reason.
