Twin City Cup Invitational

The Twin City Cup is an invitational tournament that was started in 2022 to give local bowlers the opportunity to compete against each other. Bowlers of all skill levels are invited based on points they accrue throughout the fall season.

Earning Points

Bowlers earn points by bowling in leagues and association-sponsored tournaments, plus through achievements, like increasing your average and other honor scores.

Invitational Tournament

The top points finalists (at least 1:3) will be invited to participate (at no additional cost) in the tournament. After the first round, the field will be cut in half. An additional cut will be made after the next 3 games, narrowing the field to the top 5 bowlers. The match will continue with a single game, head-to-head match-up, ladder style, starting with 4th & 5th places. The winner moves up after each game until we have an undefeated champion!

At least 1:3 entries (depending on the number of entries) will make the cut and be invited to the tournament. If someone declines, we’ll move to the next eligible bowler until we get our field.

2025-2026 Season

This year’s Twin City Cup tournament is at Western Bowl on 12 April 2026.

Points are being accumulated and those making the cup will be notified a couple weeks in advance to accept the invitation to bowl in the tournament.

Points start accumulating the week of 26 OCT 25, so get in now!
Points are limited to the next 18 weeks of your league (NLT 28 MAR 26) and our tournaments.

  • Each League Game Completed: 2
  • Game 35 Over Average: 3
  • Game 50 Over Average: 5
  • Game 70 Over Average OR 300 Game: 8
  • Series 75 Over Avg: 4
  • Series 100 Over Avg: 6
  • Series 125 Over Avg: 9
  • 800+ Series: 10

Tournament Points Non-Major – Major

  • Tournament Participation: 3 / 6
  • 3rd Place Finish (Award): 5 / 10
  • 2nd Place Finish (Award): 7 / 14
  • 1st Place Finish (Award): 10 / 20
